Citi Adopts Fenergo to Digitize Transfer Agency Services

Citi's Global Transfer Agency business has implemented Fenergo's Client Lifecycle Management platform to streamline investor onboarding and due diligence for regulated funds in Europe. The solution automates AML/KYC checks through policy-driven risk assessments, leveraging API connectivity for real-time reporting and data validation.

The platform aligns with Citi's Fund Services division, which supports asset managers creating regulated investment vehicles. "Fenergo combines next-gen technology with DEEP regulatory expertise," said Larissa Sototskaya of Citi Fund Services, noting its ability to track cross-border investments across asset classes.

Fenergo's EMEA MD Ruth Ormsby emphasized the partnership's significance in maintaining compliance amid evolving regulations. The deployment reflects growing institutional demand for digital infrastructure in traditional finance.
